Rekindling an Old Flame
I recently ran into an old flame recently. Circumstances always prevented us from being in a serious relationship, but regardless we were still good friends.
Here are snippets of some of the things I said during our encounter.
Me: Hey, how have you been doing?

Me: I haven’t seen you in years!

Me: Good good, you look great by the way.

Me: I’m just finishing up school you know, trying to sort things out.

Me: Are you seeing anyone right now?
….
Me: No.. I’m not seeing anyone right now.
….
Me: (Getting nostalgic) Remember all the fun we had? *Laughs*
….
Me: We should hang out sometime, just like old times.
….
Me: Oh I understand, you’re not ready to be in a relationship. Neither am I.
….
Me: I just got out of a pretty serious relationship myself, and I got hurt pretty bad.
….
Me: It was nice seeing you.
….
Me: Well just give me a call anytime and we can just talk.

Oh Starcraft II. It’s been 12 years since we first met. I haven’t seen you in years.
You still look so beautiful, and you’ve remained humble despite your numerous accolades and awards. But like any other prospective partner, you already have legions of [Korean] boys who are swooning over you.
